Zenfone 9 camera software not running at 120hz!!

Amazing phone, had almost all the Zenfone from the past apart from the 6th I think.

With this, the only issue I've encountered when you open the camera software, it does not run at 120hz at all, perhaps not even 60.

It's all laggy and choppy, not sure what the problem is but it's very noticeable.

I don't necessarily have issues with the recording, or picture taking quality, I rather have issue when you just open the camera app... The interface is not running smooth, laggy and not enjoyable using it at all. Not sure what the issue could be, but wondered if others have experienced the same?
