Have they been keeping up on security updates? Wondering if the zenfone 9 is a good phone thats compact still.

Being a zenfone 9 user about 1 year ago, the updates were good the first 3 months. Then he became poor and deficient.
I personally do not recommend this brand. For less money you can find a pixel 6a or 6pro, even a pixel 7.
If you ask for updates, Don't waste your money on Asus Zenfone.

I advise you to read the other posts of other users in the forum, I am not the only one who speaks ill of this device

Here I leave a list that I have made this morning for the user dissatisfied with Asus who has opened another thread about the updates.
And not only the first three months has been updated, until March 31 of this year they have updated every 30 or 40 days.

The phone fulfills what was promised and if you have problems, it is best to use your purchase guarantee and go to the official technical assistance center of your country. ZF9 is optimized and is within the framework of receiving security updates and minor fixes.

As a former ZF8 owner and current ZF9 owner, I think Asus has been very good with updates. Many quick updates in the first few months (every 2-3 weeks) to fix minor bugs. Then the regular one-month waiting time between updates. As far as I can tell, on the ZF9 they only delayed an update (for an additional month) once - the latest update, in fact. I had a similar experience with the ZF8, which I used for about a whole year.
