Is the display identical to the Zenfone 8 hence the pwm value should be the same?

its the same panel but doesnt mean its the same pwm value. It's likely but not guranteed

I feel the screen gives me more reactions than the Zenfone 8 did. I'm sensitive to pwm and found the Zenfone 8 to be very mild in that sense.

Do you notice a difference between 60hz and 120hz? many have complained that the PWM issues are only above 60hz.

I only use the Auto mode just like I did with the Zenfone 8. I don't want to milden the symptoms but rather eliminate the cause so if notebookcheck publish their coming review of Zenfone 9 from which can be concluded that the pwm value is worse than the previous model, I will return this and buy a new Zenfone 8 again.
