After I upgraded to Android 14, the first time I rebooted, the phone went into an endless reboot cycle.
I forced it to turn off, then started it again and it worked.
Just now I restarted it, and it went into the boot cycle again.
I've restarted it 4 times, and each time it's gone into the boot cycle.
This seems to happen as soon as the SIM is registered and it connects to a network.
Is this happening with anyone else? Anyone at Asus know about this?

I did a factory reset and have not had any issues since then. When I initially had the issue I had just turned on 5G on my phone, not realizing that it had been off. Since doing the factory reset I've kept it off so far. I'm assuming most of us do keep 5G on at all times normally.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Could the issue be specifically with AT&T 5G and the device/firmware/software?

I've now experienced this again. 12 days after my first factory reset. It went into the boot loop overnight so I'm not sure if any specific action or status triggered it.

@peaceczar My guess is that it's something timing-related, given that it is KIND OF random (though triggered by connecting to AT&T's network). Most of the time it happens, very occasionally it doesn't.

After a long time not doing this, my phone started doing this again just last night. It won't stop, so I'm switching back to an older phone for today until I can figure out what's going on with this one.

I wonder if anyone at Asus will work on this and fix it - big pain. 😞
