my camera became a black screen. 

has this happened to anyone? 

cam on whatsapp works fine though other cam apps don't work either. anybody run into this issue?

hmm if it only works in WhatsApp maybe WhatsApp is locking it somehow ("taking ownership") - I'm just guessing.

Perhaps try to do the same with WhatsApp: clear cache, delete data and whatnot.

had a similar issue and finally i sent the phone to the official repair center
