Poor voice quality

I have this phone from yesterday and I have notice that voice quality during phone calls is very poor 😕
People in their phones also told me that their hear me not to good.
Is it normal for that phone? Cheaper phones have better phonecall quality like this one. Im very dissapointed 😞

Call quality on the Telenor network is still terrible. When on the phone people often cant hear me. Never had this issue before. Not sure if its an antenna issue or reception due to poor phone construction. Not happy.

To be honest I had zero complains about my voice in a call. But I also tend to call people at the same carrier as mine.

Well, we also spoke decades ago, but that does not mean we should tolerate same audio quality.
I also dont have problems when talking in quiet environment with someone in quiet environment. But when there is any noise I start to struggle understanding. There are hundreds of operators in a world, most will never see VoLte support as it needs to be set for Asus manually by operators. They will not bother as Asus has less than 1% market share.

Not sure if it has been enabled by new FW update, but I've noticed that today I can talk with HD Voice on HSPA/3G in Orange PL. Good move but still hope to get VoLTE/VoWiFi as 3G could be turned off in few years...

How do can you check if the phone is using HD Voice or not?
