On button trigger face ID

Is it possible to make the on button automatically trigger the face ID?
I have just come from an Oppo Reno 5G device, and I find the face ID really inconvenient, or useless even, since I have to swipe up every time - might as well just tap the fingerprint scanner.

Currently, there is no shortcut available to unlock your device without swiping up since this is put in as a security measure. There could be a third-party app or a gesture that could allow you to do so.
