Missing kernel source

• I noticed that all newer zenfones have their kernel source released except the Zenfone 8.

Why is it gone, and when will it be back online?

Interesting, they have saved it under android topic and not on windows, all other newer zenphones have it under windows section

Yeah this company is so disorganized makes you wonder if at some point it is less incompetence and more malice. Curious what you want with the source code? Are you decent at decompiling .apk apps? Maybe you could examine their unlocker app and figure out a workaround 🙂

No, i wanted to see if there is a newer available. About the unlocker is nothing we can do. They have keys on ther server and without the keys there is no way to unlock it. I think i will just get a pixel 8 since that is also not that big and heavy what i didnt know, and they have no problem with unlocking and dont need any keys from the server, unlocking can be done locally. Sad that they go this way for me its a no go if iam forever locked and cant do anything to get a newer android version through custom roms or use ViperFX that relies on a unlocked bl. Iam not that mad and i dont want to push asus but this is for many user a pain in the ass if you cant fully use the phone to its extend.
