led color with limited charging

I set my phone to limit battery charging to 90%, a really nice feature.
When it reaches 90 the charge is officially complete, and it stops, but the led doesn't turn to green, it stays amber/orange.
The only way to know I'm done is to switch on my phone and read the number on the screen.
The whole point of the color is to know you are done, isn't it?
This would be an improvement I would enjoy EVERY day.
