weiquataIn my case, WhatsApp on A11 that I face similar problem like yours. When upgraded to A12, all good to go and the media folder become accessible again. After being "force" upgraded to Android 12,
WhatsApp running as Twin Apps has lost all media access to
/sdcard/TwinApps/Android/media/com.whatsapp/ (or /storage/emulated/2357/Android/media/com.whatsapp/)
I do not know if reinstall the Twin Apps (disable it then re-enable) will help, as I still looking solution to get back my WhatsApp data.
Since this directory is never be accessible (I have complained months ago and seems ASUS not likely to solve this), I cannot confirm whether the data has been removed during system upgrade or it is permission issue.
ASUS team, how?
Existing Twin Apps cannot access media storage after upgrading to A12

izaniMy case is worse, WhatsApp in TwinApp is unable to access its own media storage (after being upgraded to A12), hence local backup is not possible, not even backup to Google Drive. In my case, WhatsApp on A11 that I face similar problem like yours. Maybe you can back up your WhatsApp to Google Drive, remove WhatsApp TwinApp, disable TwinApp, and start all over again.
