Hi, when i add an wallpaper to my phone it always gets darker than the original picture, it's as if there is a tint on the home screen and lock screen. I would know if there is an fix for this or if I need to wait for an update to fix it? I'm on ZenFone 8 Flip

You should check under DISPLAY>SYSTEM COLOR SCHEME>WALLPAPER TINT IN DARK MODE

Hi, user @lorair00 answered. It is likely related to the feature tinting the wallpaper in dark mode, to make everything less bright.
You may disable it or change the tining for your own added wallpapers.
