AdminASUS today announced that the latest Android 12 upgrade will be available for the ZenFone 8 series commencing in December, 2021. This will be followed by upgrades for the ROG Phone 5 and 5s series in the first quarter of 2022. The upgrades for the Zenfone 7 series and ROG Phone 3 series are expected during the first half of 2022.
This update inherits the major functional changes introduced in the official version of Android 12, as well as continuing the popular ASUS battery- and performance-management features. For Zenfone models, it also includes ZenUI-specific changes that allow easier navigation, streamlined control panels, increased visibility for better control and more customization options.
ASUS has already recruited Zenfone 8 users for the Android 12 beta testing program. The beta program will help identify and fix bugs based on real user experiences before the final software is rolled out in December.

MekaninI dont know that.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/206502#Comment_206502
I already checked the support site, and they have special notice like this "This upgrade patch only allows to upgrade from WW-30.12.112.72, WW-30.12.112.76, WW-31.1004.0404.73, WW-31.1004.0404.81 & WW-31.1004.0404.92 versions to Android 12. The other firmware version can't use this patch file to upgrade"
My Zenfone's firmware is WW-30.12.112.82, so none of the list above.
Is it okay if I continue to download and install it, even tho my firmware version isn't listed?

ag1805xSame here! The new A12 style of drop down menu is fu**ing awful!!!! It has nothing to do with style, nor ergonomic use!I am hating the new Android 12 interface especially the drop down menu on home screen is so annoyingly big. The smaller and compact buttons in Android 11 was better. Is there a way to change this view?
