DanishbluntI have done that,( when I first published the phone) but under devoloper settings, Bluetooth, codec, everything is greyed out and it says ,, greyed out settings not supported by phone or headset,, so it's stuck on default.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/197698#Comment_197698
- Go to the settings menu and click “About phone”
- Scroll down to the bottom where you see “Build number”
- Tap it seven (7) times. Android developer settings are now enabled
- Go to the settings menu again and click System->Developer options->Bluetooth Audio Codec
- Choose your audio codec of preference

RoystoysNormally you have to connect a bluetooth device to something, otherwise it cannot know what codecs are supported by your BT device.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/197700#Comment_197700

If the phone have to be connected to something ( Bluetooth) do the other settings become available?

DanishbluntBizarre,I finally worked out what my problem was ,I think. This morning the same two bugs happened,a, when talking to someone over Bluetooth they can't understand me ,b, when using android auto via the button on my steering wheel the Google assistant could not understand me. So today I tried simply clearing all cache,s and it's back to normal.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/197713#Comment_197713
