WhatsApp video calls volume very loud

Hi.
So when on a video call the volume is extremely loud.
Even on the lowest volume setting for calls, media and so on, it's still extremely loud.
I have to block the bottom speaker to avoid hurting my ears.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Did this issue just start since a firmware update, or have you been dealing with it for a while? What firmware are you on?
Can you show us a mock video from a second device?

Yes have tried reinstalling it with no change.
As far as I can remember it's been doing it since I got the phone in November.
It's on firmware version 17.1810.2001.119
I'll try later get a video of it and post it
