What's the difference between WW and country specific variants ?

Can anyone carify the differences between WW and country specific variants in OS? In the release note I don't see any differences in updates but fixes irrespective of counties.

I don't think the software variant (WW, JP,...) impact the band inclusion, in fact it's the A, B, C hardware variant.
