Voicemail and caller ID

Hi there.
I am new with the Zenphone6. And have a few questions. First one is the voicemail. When I press 1 on my phone it asks me to setup the voicemail. I go into settings and I think I do everything I need to do but it will not set up. Am I doing something wrong?
Also the caller ID. I have noticed that it doesn't show me who is calling except the people I already have stored in my contacts. My old pixel would show me the name or company calling even if they were not in my contacts. Is this normal as well?

go to system settings - network & internet - call and Carrier relate to check if you put in the correct number
