notification panel not coming down

sometimes when swiping from top, notification panel does not comes down, it just pulls down just a lil bit and them goes back up.
really annoying

Just go to settings turn off the swipe down to show notifications then turn it on..I think that should work just fine.

i dont think so there is any setting like that, because by default it is the only option to access notification panel and there should not be any way to turn it on or off

Just go to Settings>Apps&Notifications and from there select Asus Launcher and force stop that. This works for me as it restarts automatically.
