Joel, estava com o mesmo problema. Além do mencionado aqui, tive que desativar o modo escuro e reiniciar. aí resolveu. Depois disso, mesmo voltando para o modo escuro não tive problemas.
Joel, I had the same issue. I did all steps all of you said ( but it not worked), so Idisable dark mode and restart. Its normal again.
