Camera not working, the flip is working great though!

Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: Often
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Camera App; Version: 6.4.0.0_200724
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

So I have had my phone for a year and a half now, I have had no issues with the camera flip or anything, and still don't. Lately the camera it self has been acting weird. The flip works fine when I tap the selfie button, but the screen goes blank and restarts at times or I seem some lines on the screen. There are occasions when image shows up but it is either inverted or has weird coloring. The wide angle camera works just fine though, I'm facing this only with the main camera. Is there I can do? Please advice. Thanks in advance.

PS: I did try taking screenshots and screen recording, but the phone freezes and none of that is happening.

Your cable to Flip Camera is probably broken.

Hi, we'd request you follow the below steps:
1. Go to Camera settings and Clear cache & storage of Camera App after backing up & disable/re-enable camera App
2. Try the same under safe mode:
Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode
3. If still you face the issue factory reset your phone after taking a full backup:  https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1006346/
4. Last option would be to visit the service center to have

I'm facing the exact same issue even after rebooting in safe mode and clearing camera cache and so on. Are there any Asus-certified service centers in Stockholm, or how do I check that?
