Ambient sensor

The moment I take my finger near ear piece, the screen goes off. Its annoying, like while doing some work the screen goes off with just slight hovering of the finger over the sensor. Its okay while call but it's annoying while you are doing some other work.
What to do??
Or How to off the sensor??

I haven't noticed that, but I remember it happened while I was on Google map.

Ambient sensor

Remove screen gaurd covering the sensor and that should help fix this sensor problem.

That part of screen is not covered with any kind of screen guard

It's really strange because I don't know any app in which when the proximity sensor is triggered, the screen turns off. Only Phone app does that, isn't it ?

"Turns off" do we agree ? Not a popup saying that "Pocket mode is enabled" ? Are we in agreement ?

It happens sometimes randomly for sometime and it goes on its own..
