About finger print scanner

My asus z6 finger print sensor Becomes very slow after I update the package. This feels very irritating please do something or guide me about above said.

Do you notice any performance improvement if you go to settings -> Security & Lock screen -> click the gear cog next to Screen lock and change the Automatically lock to immediately?
