subhojit.deyI didn't faced any problem like you faced. I did used an Airtel sim on 30th July 2018 that time 5z did catched both Jio as well as Airtel VoLTE at the same time.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/136890#Comment_136890
Not talking about that. What I am saying is, if you purchase a new Airtel sim and put it inside any ASUS device for the first time, VoLTE is not activated automatically. You either have to call customer care and get VoLTE activated manually or use the sim in a MI, Oneplus, Samsung phone for a few hours. This happens because Airtel as a carrier does not recognize Asus phones as VoLTE capable. No problem in the phones as such.

AbhinavBack in November 2019, when I purchased my Airtel SIM this happened so just wanted you guys to know. I'm sure some of you may have faced this too.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/141636#Comment_141636

I know some won't believe me but I used it so I know it. I just purchased the New Airtel sim and installed it in 5z and bam VoLTE came to Airtel too at that time.

AbhinavHappy New Year all, it has been a while and I don't actually mind porting to JIO once my pack validity ends but here's something I want you guys to help me with if possible. I'm still skeptical about using JIO as my primary number. I use just one sim and its important that it is reachable most of the time. Other usages include some travelling within cities and sometimes to remote areas. Airtel is not the best network out there but in most places at least the voice calls work. Data speeds are okayish in most places too. Is JIO reliable enough throughout India? Please help. Thanks! For Jio the VoWiFi is working great. No problems so far. I guess the problem is with Airtel. They are chortel. Asus didn't had any problem to enable VoWiFi for 5z but facing problem with Airtel. Airtel is money hogger. They don't work until you pay them. Their plans are costly, no proper 4G coverage (weak), still uses old IP protocol, VoLTE is not there in some remote areas, 4G is not dependable switches to 2G automatically and frequently.
