compared to any other major phone manufacturer out there, for me in particular it seems like a non-ideal decision to buy a zenfone based on this fact alone. I want to buy the zenfone 11 ultra but getting no more updates after 2 years is a major drawback.
Those of you who have zenfone phones, is asus kind enough to provide android updates after 2 years?

It is not physically possible for software update to damage your phone to the point it would need rebailing. With all my disappointment with those phones, just saying.

Yes because no one buying their new crappy phones, people are switching to IOS, Samsung or even Xiaomi and Huawei, because people been fooled after that what they did on major A13 update that all phones being destroyed and people are pissed off no one will going to buy their ugly phones and learned from their mistakes, probably no one will even be fooled again rather than to choose a 4 years update instead of only getting 2 years update, with all lazy bot and no customer service satisfaction, people will not going to buy their crappy phones again.

Buying new phone every 2 years is not good. Not good for environment, and not good for customer, as customer could spend same money for charity or just savings.

You don't need to buy another phone every two years. OS updates won't make any big changes. You still got security patches updates which is more important than android updates.
