Audiowizard/Bluetooth Audio Quality Drop after most recent update

My phone updated last night (11-18-2024) and this morning on my way to work, my phone connects to my stereo in my car automatically and it started playing music, but it didn't sound good at all. It sounded like the bass frequencies were cranked to the max and the mids and highs were muffled. I checked the audio wizard in settings and all I get is that 'Dirac service is unavailable'. 

I restarted the phone, didn't work. I cleared the cache and force stopped audio wizard and restarted the phone, didn't work. I tried 2 different sets of Bluetooth wireless earbuds, and they sounded the same where it was all out of wac. tried rebooting the phone in recovery mode but did nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this before i consider resetting the phone?

Did you solve the sound problem after the factory reset? Is Dirac in audio wizard working now?

Yup....il facing thé same problem. I went to such lengh exchanging my headphone. 🥵🥵🥵

Would like to draw your @Mansi_ASUS kind attention here. This issue is not in isolation but rampant.

Please take rampant action here or I'll seek refund for this headache of a device.

I just read some Chinese ZenTalk forums and noticed that there’s significantly more activity there compared to here. Here’s what the mods are saying about our problem:

Laura_ASUS: The issue with the sound effect magician not being usable is currently being fixed internally. An update will be released as soon as possible to address this, and it’s expected to be rolled out next week.

Until this officially gets resolved I'm going to "officially mark this" as the solution. Seems like we're just going to have to wait for Asus to fix it and then roll it out hopefully sometime next week. Whenever I find out info about it I'll post it here for everybody.
