I replied without having noticed that your question relates to a wireless charger - please disregard my initial reply as it relates to a traditional power adapter -type (Asus ROG 65W Adapter & 1.2m USB-C Cable: I never had problems using it.)
Concerning a Wireless Charger, you should pay attention to selecting a QI Certified charger, with a stable interfacing support to the phone. I read that the Belkin Quick Charge Wireless Charging Pad - 15W is quite good. It comes with its own power adapter, so that you can use it right out of the box
