ZenFone 10 Bluetooth issue with Sennheiser TW2

I have bought a ZenFone 10 4 months ago and since then I'm unable to pair it with my Sennheiser Momentum TW 2 earbuds. There is no way that I can make this work, not even the smart control app does anything and it really annoys me.

Reading other posts on here, the suggestion is to open the debug tool on the calculator and insert the .19595+= code, but that doesn't lead me anywhere.

I was very happy with my previous ZenFone 5, to the point I swapped it for the 10, but now I'm lacking a quite important functionality and it doesn't feel good at all.

I know I'm not the first one to report this but I'd really appreciate some help.

Are you able to connect other devices to the phone via bluetooth?
If yes then I can recommend doing a factory reset of the headphones before trying to connect them again, according to the manual for your headphones you can do the following:

>Make sure that the contacts on the earbuds and in the charging case are clean and make contact (the LED of the charging case lights up when you insert the earbuds into the charging case). 

>If necessary, clean the contacts.
> Use the USB cable to connect the charging case to a power source.
> Insert the earbuds into the charging case and, within 30 seconds, touch and hold the right and the left touch control panel for 12 seconds.
The earphones are reset to the factory default settings
