Updated to Android 14 and I cannot take photos anymore :(

Hi all, I recently updated to Android 14 and I proceeded to reboot my phone.  After rebooting, I'm unable to take photos and my selfie toggle in the camera app is gone 😞 

Is this normal??

Also, just to update, the camera app was working fine after I did the following below:

- another factory reset

- updated Google Play

- used ASUS Phone Clone app to copy my settings, apps etc from my old device.


The camera app only stopped working after I did a restart after restoration was completed.

It's really weird that you've factory reset and the problem comes back. Mansi has answered you, follow the instructions and they will try to see what exactly happens.

Hey @mikhyr,

As per the log analysis, it seems that the front camera of the device is malfunctioning, leading to abnormal camera functionality. I'd recommend you contact your nearest repair center and get your device examined.
