Dear ASUS,

I am almost done with decision, considering to change from life long samsung user to asus zenphone 10 because i lovr this phone so much.

Only thing that bothers me is software security patches, so can you considering optioning for extra android upgrade and extra 2 years of security

I'm in the same dilemma of buying or not Zenfone 10. Considering if is worth buying it or not, because of the short time left of securities updates plus no longer Android upgrades? 😞

Do not buy this phone. If support and high-quality software are important to you, this is not about asus. The bug with the automatic screen frequency change still remains, even from the first firmware versions on android 13. They have banned unlocking the bootloader, while lying to their customers that it is in service. But a lot of interesting information is leaking onto the Internet, for example, that they are ready to unlock the loader for 185 euros, as well as their response scripts in support when someone asks about unlocking. Stay away from this company, they are pathological liars, unworthy of your trust .

Also chiming in here, I regret switching from long-time Sony Xperia phones to Asus Zenfone 10, the patch lifecycle is slow, even my budget Moto G82 has already gotten the latest Security patch.
Also, a lot of software issues, the latest one is my phone can't detect external USB-C or regular USB drives anymore that PREVIOUSLY WORKED, already I have a case with Support and provided log files but they claim they see no event detection when the drive is plugged in while the file transfer works on a computer.

You can't even do a full ROM reinstall, this is nuts and not acceptable for a flaship product.
You'll be much better off getting a Google Pixel with 7 years of OS updates & patches and developer friendly.
