Zenbook Pro Duo Glitching

Detailed description：every time i turn on the laptop, it glitches for a couple minutes and doesnt let me stay in an app. I tried to screen record it but it kept taking me out of the app so i was never able to record. i have to wait a couple minutes before i can actually use an app which is annoying. the screen also flashes in the top right corner for a couple seconds when it first turns on. every few turn ons, i have to restart it because it isnt showing the "extend, pin, or switch to second screen" buttons for an app. appreciate any help.

yeah sorry, it's a bit confusing. basically, the screen glitching and the app thing are two different things. The screen glitches for a second then stops, so not a big deal but it does annoy me, since I spent $3000 on this laptop.
after i open up an app, a little hourglass shows up next to my mouse pointer thing. then, it acts as if i clicked on the home screen. the app is still there but i can't do any inputs with it and if i try clicking back in, it takes me out of it.

Sorry it's still quite confusing. So you have both issue, right?
For the screen glitching, it only happen at the beginning when booting the device?
Have you tried to change the resolution or turn off the power saving?
It happens on AC mode or battery mode? or both?

And for the APP issue, which app exactly? any app?
May you record a video of the process?
