jbird

System: Windows 10 Pro
Battery or AC: AC
Model: VivoBook x512da

========================
Detailed description:
I have several of these machines in use, first report last week 3/18/2021. Was that the machine has locked up, mouse would not move - had to do forced shutdown to boot back up -- re-occurred several hrs later. Ran windows updates at the time, installed latest BIOS updated and Chipset drivers from Asus\AMD. issue still occurring several times a day.
Second report today different user\machine, 3/26/2021 seperate machine same exact model user reported machine is locked and mouse will not move - forced shutdown - ran sys restore - user is testing will report back.
Has any other VivoBook users seen similar behavior recently? This feels HW related, memory mb, gfx driver issue.

i dont have your model laptop.
increase virtual memory size, set some unwanted services startup type to manual or disabled.
delete or disable tasks under task scheduler.
disable startup items under task manager
disable running background applications which uses battery power
