HI, I want to upgrade my laptop's RAM. It supports up to 12 GB of RAM ( 4 GB onboard, 1 x SODIMM empty)
Which is better for up-gradation??? 4GB OR 8GB?
If I add 8GB will it work in dual channel mode???

Dual channel works when both RAM are exactly the same, including capacity.
