System: Windows 10
Battery or AC: Battery
Description: Updating to windows 1903 creates serious temperature problems
Model: S512fj-ej021t
Frequency of Occurrence: Always
Reset OS: Yes

I have the vivobook in the description of the problem my cpu is a core i7 8565u. Agter updating to windows 1903 the cpu at idle woth 2 per cent utilisation runs very hot. The normal voltage at idle was 0.6v and now it is 1.2 v. The cpu is constantly boosting at 4.5 ghz even if i am not doing anything and the os is not doing anything. Also changing the power profile in the battery icon does not change the situation the cpu run at its maximum performance no matter what. Anyone experiencing this? I have contacted microsoft but they keep saying it is a manufacturer problem but for me it is os related.

Hello aledon2000, Please double check if your BIOS is up to date https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASU ... /HelpDesk_Download/ And you may adjust the battery mode in My ASUS as well. Also, were the photo took when you feel the temperature is high and the temperature it's around 40-50? How long had the device been idled but not in sleep mode? Thank you.
