Hi everyone! Does this system come with Soldered RAM? I'm asking because I have upgraded the RAM stick to 16GB and noticed that it is running as a single channel.

I was always under the impression that this machine comes with 4gb soldered.

Any clarification or help would be appreciated, thanks!

If 4gb is already soldered and also you added 16gb ram, so it must be show 20gb right , but it not showing. Check the technical specifications of the model page

This version has a single channel ram slot.

I have a F512DA I only have 1 ram slot. It also a single ram and my max ram is only 12 Gigs. I had to buy a 8GB stick to bring up my total ram to 12GB. My F512DA came with 4GB soldiered on the motherboard.
