Classic ROGphones. SIM and Wifi stoppage is an early indicator of bricked rogphone. Had 3 and 5 get bricked like this. Interesting to know this is still the case, especially in an iteration which costs more than 3 and 5 combined.
What is the solution for phones outside warranty? I'm pretty sure most rog5 users no longer have warranty, so will Asus refuse to acknowledge and fix a common problem they irresponsibly caused with updates? I could understand if the issue was obscure...

Have had same issue. Factory reset didn't work. I didn't use the cooler for months because of it. This one time I did last week, the phone went on a restart loop and fried my wifi too. Random parts break, and cause other random parts to break. Asus
