Screen Auto Brightness Too Sensitive

Does anyone else feel like the screen brightness is too sensitive? Sometimes when I'm playing games in a well lit area, and my thumb just goes over the sensor but doesn't touch it, the screen dims and I have to let it face direct light again to get the appropriate brightness. It's quite frustrating sometimes.

Hi alien_jeff, Is your firmware version the latest WW-15.1630.1812.68? Could you tell me what games (and their versions) are you playing? Is X mode turned on when this happens?
