VoWifi rollout Jio and Airtel - India [Threads Merged]

Jio and Airtel, 2 Major network providers in India have started rolling out VoWifi Services for subscribers. Almost All Major Brands and devices Support VoWifi. But Asus is missing from compatible devices. Basically, in India the Network reception indoors is poor and VoWifi will be a great addition to have. Any Possibility of this being enabled via future updates?

If there is some feature present on the device does not imply that it will get what it has to offer. Sometimes other factors do contribute to it.

This will just show the settings, it doesn't do a thing. Type #*#4636#*# and inside Phone Information > 3 dot menu > IMS Service Status > Voice over Wi-Fi is still unavailable. This means that it actually doesn't work.

@asus team, In India, Network companies are started VoWiFI service. I don't see this option in ROG 2. Could you explain your decision on implementation this feature?

I assume it is a software feature. If so, we have no hardware dependency.

Could someone from ASUS team explain any complications on providing this feature?

Thanks
