screen refresh rate issue after update

After recent update 1908.21-0 it seems refresh rate has become slow . 120Hz feels like 90Hz and 90Hz like 60Hz... If you set the rate to 60Hz phone is almost unusable... everything is so laggy and slow. I have OnePlus 6 it's 60Hz is like Rog 2 90Hz
So something has broken after recent update. Is anyone else facing same issue? If not can you please change refresh rate to 60Hz,check and let me know

After 1908.25 update, I did notice the phone was slightly not as snappy as before. but comparing the 60hz refresh with my Note10+ it looks the same. 90hz is smooth and 120hz is buttery.
Compare the 60hz with another 60hz phone and you will see the same slight judder.
