Rog Phone 2 - Security Lock Issue

Hello 🙂
I recently got the ROG Phone 2 (8gb) & absolutely loved the device . Everything is working Very nicely.
The only main issue I'm facing is the security lock issues . Neither PIN / PASSWORD / THUMBPRINT are requested to unlock the screen even after completely setting up any one of the above .
Just a swipe unlocks the device , making this a security risk .
Any help or comments would be highly appreciated !

Yes , the phone locks with no problem .
But when i want to unlock it by swiping up , no password / pin requirement in prompted .

I just checked it out .
It was disabled but enabling it also didn't make any difference .
Just a swipe up is unlocking the device .
