ROG Phone 2 navigation gestures and icons

Hello.

I have bought the phone today and already noticed that the navigation gestures stop working randomly and the only choice is to use the classic ones (all stop working, except the classic ones)

And also after changing the theme some icons change their appeareance while others stay the same. What gives?

Anyone had any luck somehow circumventing or resolving this outside of waiting for the official support? Thank you.
EDIT: This is on Android 9 latest update it allowed me to download.

Hey, Gustav. Thank you for replying.

I have upgraded to the latest version (A10) and as I can't stand the gestures from the sides anyway and am currently using the classic buttons I can't tell you if the issue occurs or not at this moment 😞

@Trine I see! Get back to me if you revert to gesture navigation and start facing the same issues agin.
