KanuNot just gaming the cpu heats up for just viewing webcontent and even for vedio playback in youtube . I can tolerate 42-43 degrees but it's going beyond 48 for gaming . This is not a cheap mediatech processor phone for heating up during vedio playback or using chrome.Guys what temperatures do your phones reach while gaming and non gaming. Also what's the temp of the place you live. I live where it's about 37 degrees now and while playing pubg the phone doesn't go above 40 until x mode ultimate and even then doesn't exceed 42.

anjubunny123After updating to A10 I even reset my phone . I don't want that kind of a headache trying to restore all lost content and there are many apps and accounts . It will be a headache again to downgrade to A9 .Just downgraded my rog 2 to android 9 .now I am getting stable fps(almost 60 fps) in pubg and asphalt 9, I'll stay on android 9 until they resolve the issues

sagarreddysagThen you have to wait until they resolve the issue,it might take a couple of months.for me performance and great battery life are far more important than the gestures and features that A10 gives,so I decided to downgradehttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/71384#Comment_71384

Let it be I can cling on to A10 but it would be beneficial if Asus releases update faster to fix these problems.

anjubunny123Is it the issue with the new update? My frame drops to even 22 fps which is absolutely ridiculous for a gaming phone like this. I feel like wasting my money in this crapJust downgraded my rog 2 to android 9 .now I am getting stable fps(almost 60 fps) in pubg and asphalt 9, I'll stay on android 9 until they resolve the issues
