Launcher Notification Dot

Looks like even without any notification the notification dot keep on popping up in the recent apps at the top of the launcher. And it switches everytime you open that app or scroll down.

Sorry for the late response. You scrolled really quickly, so I'm not 100% sure I understand what's going on. Are we talking about the blue dot moving from Instagram to Chrome?
Does this issue persist after a reboot of your phone? Does anything pop up in the notifications bar, or just in the app drawer?

What about if you go to app drawer 3 dot menu in top right corner -> preferences -> home screen -> press app icon badges -> change to notification counter. Any better or still the same weird issue?
