Is this much SoT with 60hz and power saver normal?

I used 60hz almost the entire time and had power saver on. I played asphalt 9 at 60fps on performance settings (Without X mode on) for around 45 minutes but that's about all the gaming I did. Is this normal? Cuz I heard some people saying they were getting 9+ hours.

I'm probably gonna stick with this phone for a while, even when the new rog comes out.

Also how much heat is too much? When playing asphalt it goes upto around 40ish degrees celsius, and around 44 when playing it for 2 hours. Upto 39 when using the phone for medium intensity tasks while charging.

I am not sure what temperature the batteries would be at when you are gaming on the ROG Phone because I never check that part when I played, I guess it should be alright. But don't immediately charge the device because the Phone is already hot and if you were to plug the charger in right away...that is definitely going to raise the battery temps plus with the fast charging...it is going heat things up for sure...so you might want to let the device cool down a bit before plugging in charger.

I do occasionally play whe charging, it gets around 45 with a peak of 46-47, but the battery slowly drains instead of charging. The phone probably lowers the charging speed to not cause more heat.

Right, I did not notice that because I don't plug the charger in while gaming on it and I normally let the thing cool off before charging because I felt that it was too hot. Another thing I did was to leave the aero cooler on just to help a little bit.

I sadly don't have the aero cooler because I got the 8/128gb variant. And only a 18 watt charger instead of the 30watt one.

Oh ok then just let it cool off before you charge it.
