How to use microphone on headphone

So I have bought this new headphone,hyper x cloud stinger.but whenever I turn on mic in pubg,it uses my phone's mic instead of my headphone.any solution on this? I find this really bothering me lately

I tried using our ROG Centra USB C and it uses the headset microphone. Even though you didn't ask it's worth mentioning that you can't use screen recorder and PUGB mic at the same time if you want to record your voice.
