VampIn that case I don't know about the games then. Do you mind me asking, how are you checking this? Got me all interested in the display now 🤠https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/142071#Comment_142071
There's no denying that. I just wanted to ask that like ROG 1 had SDR to HDR conversation option which change the display settings accordingly if it's receiving HDR metadata if screen is not switching to HDR by itself.
Since ROG II does not have that option are those game really HDR or it's just my screen is not switching to HDR. I don't have any other ROG lying around to confirm that.
It's not a bug or anything. It's just general curiosity that games send metadata same as video or not for HDR.

ronald1985I have winter break now and I was just web scrapping for fun so I decided to scrap the ROG II webpage from rog.asus.com and I noticed one thing that the image containing the 10 bit HDR display have a game on it and it got me thinking of HDR games. I searched for SD 855+ and HDR gaming and found that Adreno 640 GPUs are perfectly capable of HDR gaming. So I downloaded PUBG with High quality resources and switched to HDR but display didn't switched to HDR and saturation didn't go up (I use standard splendid mode for daily use as it's most color accurate) and just global lighting has been changed with increase in texture to the objects. Then I tried searching for HDR games for Android but didn't found anything promising.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/142094#Comment_142094
