Now there is a reason to put this into the software because many of us are suffering from malfunctioning power button. The problem of using screenshot icon from drop down menu is it will close my current screen or just take away what I'm currently trying to screenshot.
If I try to use power button, the volume key will also get the same hard pressure I apply to power key. It will potentially damage volume down too.

Either 3 fingers as mentioned in the thread or like huawei's knock 2 times.
PS: I don't use navigation buttons, I'm protecting my phone from potential screenburn.
Question: Is there also a way to restart the phone without using power button?

... So I found that by activating accessibility menu, I gain a lot of on screen buttons as alternative to hardware ones. Still good to have the gesture for screen shots though.
