Smart Volume for media playback was a great feature in ROG Phones since ROG Phone ii with Android 10 (until Android 11)
Which later seems to disappear from Android 12 onwards (Last seen was on Asus ROG 3 Android 11)
And now its just appears as Smart Ringtone. Only works for ringtone only and not media playback as its gone already. Check the Before After Screenshot.
Note: Asus ROG Phone ii sound output is the best among ROG 5 and later ones.
This feature is just vanished with latest OS upgrades since A12 from its software coding, as the hardware sensors to work this feature is already there is most of all ROG Phone (as it was working in A11 OS confirmed with ROG ii as smart volume media playback option) so seems its not removed depending on hardware changes but its just re-written and smart volume for media playback option is just removed over future software updates.
