Fast Charging Not working

Having some issues with my rog phone 2 fast charging. Sometimes it doesnot fast charg. Even after rebooting so many timea it doesnot work. There is no plus sogh near the battery while charging. Tried both port. But not working. Then in a sudden somwtimes it starts working again. Having this problem for like a month now. Tried changing the cable as well with orginial asus type c cable. But still having thw same problem. Asy solution regarsing thia issue?

Hey.

Last ek month se fast charging nahi ho raha hai.

Bar bar cable nikalna or lagana padta hai.

Mobile ko 4 bar reset kar diya h lekin fir bhi problem wahi hai.

Original charger work nahi kar raha hai.

Full charge hone k liye 8 to 9 hours lag rahe hai.

Please help.

Did you try the suggestions from PowerCat? Try a reboot, test both ports and please get a third (preferably new) USB-C wire.

Tried but not working.... Also in safe mode it's not working

Fast Charging Not working

Had similar problems my rog 2 stopped hypercharging, went to service center, they replaced the motherboard. If nothing works get your phone fixed asap. Beware service center guys are not best at handling phone, I now have dust under my camera lens which I'll need to have cleaned by them again.

Well, since this is a form of smart charging and seems to be intermittent, it has got to be a regulatry issue.
The system might have a set of conditions that must be met, so it can allow any form of fast charging technology.
I think there are various technologies with various demands for manufacturers.
I haven't looked into it, but in general.
1- If the phone is hot or under heavy processing, lol which is the case for all of us nowadays thanks to 2009.47 the Covid47 of our ASUS ROG PHONES 👌😭:fire:LOL I think the system will allow only regular charging.

2- If the (USB-c Cable) you are utilizing doesn't support carrying enough current volts×watts=amps. Fast charging will not work.

3- I don't know for now but I will report later any findings in this regard. I'm really busy right now.
