Factory sock Firmware flashing

HI.
I am currently using the Tencent verions 8/128gb rog phone 2.
My bootloader is unlocked and i am running the latest WW rom with WW fingerprint.

I want to go back to the original factory state so that i may be able to get the Updates via OTA.
I want to go back to the original CN version and be able to get the OTAs

I read in some posts that Once bootloader has been unlocked. There is no way to get ota anymore. Whether it be cn or ww.. even if you lock the bootloader again??? is that true?


Can someone answer/help me get back to the stock/original factory rom.

Because fingerprints was changes, so it is not in the factory state anymore. If it's just a ww rom flashed on the device then it's quite easy to go back to CN. But the question is why are you going back?

It also depend on how did you chang the fingerprints in the first place. I would bet money on you lose OTA forever. But try to change it back and see. In order to get OTA the IMEI has to match the region of fingerprints, bootloader has to be locked. The main question is will a previous unlocked boot loader alow you to get OTA. Also you said manual flash firmware as in download it and restart the phone? Or plug it into pc??
