Build .88 i updated firmware recently.
Few days back my warranty got expired and shixxtty phone starts acting up, charger keep reconnecting. I used same original adaptor with other phones, it works properly but when I use it on phone it keeps on reconnecting. So tried using 35w verified charger - well known brand, reconnecting got reduce but still happens.
My bottom and side port are both acting up. Sometimes it recognises bottom port and side port just reconnects
This is my second ROG phone, never going to buy asus ever again, my first ROG Phone 2 started acting up at the end days of warranty. Whole motherboard got fuxked, i fought with asus service to get my issue fixed. And now this shixxtty issue again.
I don't know what to do whether it is charging port connector issue or phone motherboard issue. I don't know. Its annoying dudes, after sales service sucks in Asus. Sorry to say but this will be my asus last phone ever. I will pick Samsung over this like crappy service.
So hard to get service, no support at all. Can't even get my rog 2 battery replaced.
Help me , whoever got the solution and please don't tell me to do factory reset crap.
I WISH ROG PHONE SERIES DI-ES soon. Just stick to computer parts properly atleast.

Hi there @yogi_d_barai
Sorry to hear this.
Does this happen if you use another cable? And can you check if the ports are clean?
I wonder if you could maybe provide a log recreating the issue when this is happening, that way the R&D team can look into what could be causing the issue.

It's same with different cable, it's very inconsistent to find pattern. It sometimes work and sometimes doesn't which question my sanity while debugging this fault. Which makes me insane in process.
How to generate log?
Oh, I'm sorry, I missed adding the steps, adding them here down below, when doing this please keep it on for at least 20 minutes, this will help the team examine the log better
***********
Please follow the below steps to enable the built-in log tool (Bug reporter).
1. Open “Calculator APP”
2. Enter “.19595+=”
3. Select the Log type according to the type of issue you want to capture. “General cases” will work for most issues.
4. After your selection the log tool will exit so you can duplicate the issue or wait for it to happen. Try to use the screen recorder to show your issue when possible. If you can't screen record your issue, then please take a screenshot right after the issue has occurred (as a timestamp) so we know where to look in the log.
5. Navigate back to the log tool via calculator and Tap "FINISH AND SHARE".
6. It takes several minutes for the log to generate. You can exit and do other stuff in the meantime. A silent notification will tell you once the process is done. Tap the notification and then the share button to upload the file to Google Drive and share the link with a moderator. Just make sure to change the permission first so that everyone with the link has permission to view it.
Note: When you're no longer planning on logging your device, enter “.09595+=” in the calculator and the log tool will stop as well as deleting all stored log files. Make sure to share via calculator. The files found in internal storage -> asus_log are not the correct files (they are only 1.2kb)

Should I generate it without recreating the issue or just general without plugging it charger?
