This is quite common with games like COD and PUBG. It doesn't only happen to ASUS phones. I advise you to visit the reviews for your game at google play store on a computer. Scroll to the bottom a couple of times so you have a long list of reviews and then you search in the text for words like freeze, black, crash and you'll see how common it is
